I leverage my technical expertise in biotechnology (neuroscience) and nearly two decades of intellectual property experience to help clients effectively develop and protect their intellectual property assets. As a registered patent and trademark agent, I provide comprehensive advice on patentability, trademark registration, freedom-to-operate, due diligence, and IP portfolio management. I support a diverse range of clients, from early-stage startups to established companies and post-secondary institutions.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Lethbridge and went on to complete both a Ph.D. in Neuroscience and a Juris Doctor at the University of Alberta, uniquely positioning me to bridge the gap between the scientific and legal domains. When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending my time in the Rocky Mountains with my husband Travis and our two daughters.
